Builtingh started as a showcase. It's becoming the place where Ghanaian work gets discovered, sold, and built on: a source of inspiration, a marketplace, and a network for the people shaping the country's digital future.

Vision

Kente is woven one strip at a time, then stitched into something no single strip could be. That's the idea. Thousands of individual projects, stitched into an ecosystem that proves what Ghana builds, and pays the people who build it.

The problem

Ghana is building. Almost nobody can see it.

Three gaps hold the ecosystem back, and each one makes the others worse.

The work is invisible.

Great Ghanaian products live in scattered tweets, WhatsApp groups and app store listings. There is no single place to see what the country is building.

Designers, developers and artists rarely have a local way to sell what they make, so talent leaves for platforms that were never built with them in mind.

The mark

A gateway, with the Black Star at its threshold.

The Gate is drawn on a 24-unit square grid, stepped like woven cloth. It's a doorway in both directions: into Ghana's digital work, and out to the world. The arch fills with the colours of kente, red, gold and green, one strip at a time.
